Indications
The PDMS is high pure silicone oil to be used to replace the vitreous umor after vitrectomy surgery with prolonged time of permanence in the eye normally longer than 30 days.
General descriptions
The PDMS is distributed sterile, also into glass and plastic syringe with dispenser and tube for infusion.
Disponible in two versions:

- 5000 centistokes

CLASSIFICATION
The medical device:
“PDMS silicon oil for ocular implant", to the senses of the enclosure IX of the Dir. 93/42 CEE has classified as device insurable and it re-enters therefore in the class II b, rule 8.
Superior Institute of Sanity
To the goals of the apposition of the mark CE, and in base to the declared classification, the manufacturer of the device has applied the procedures described in the followings enclosures of the Dir.93/42 CEE: III + VI for medical devices class IIb.
